Truffle Hunting

Truffles are considered one of Italy’s most prized foods and can be found abundantly throughout Tuscany. The area around Paluffo, in fact, is famous for both white and black truffles.

If you love truffles and want to enjoy a truly unique experience, go on a truffle hunt with a professional truffle hunter and his talented dog.

This experience lasts 2 hours and will take you into the forest where the dog can sniff out hidden truffles. At the end of the hunt, you’ll return to Paluffo and enjoy your freshly foraged truffles tossed with fresh tagliolini egg noodles and fried eggs – a delicious combination.
The truffle season runs from March to December but the best time to find truffles is between October and November.
